Homeowners like us. My wife Sandra and I lived through some construction projects in our own home and we learned first hand how dislocated and invaded you can feel during the process. There is no cure for the discomfort but certainly the effects can be mitigated by our construction motto that we learned in the 1st grade. Neatness counts. We create floor to ceiling barriers between the work areas and the rest of the house. We lay down tarps on the finish floor and sometimes plywood to protect your home. We clean up and vacuum the work area several times throughout the day. That helps keep the work area safe and the dust and debris from floating around. The next most important strategy we employ is to compress the construction schedule so that we intrude on your space for as short a time as possible. Someone from our team will be on site every weekday until the project is finished. On many of our door and window installations we're finished in one day. Your family will come home in the evening to enjoy the fruits of our labor but, thankfully they'll miss the process. Lastly, we do the job right so we don't have to come back and fix things later. Sure we're in this business to make a living but, we also want to make some friends and lots of satisfied customers along the way. |
